THE ZOO OF STONE ANIMALS

This is a game-tour for the whole family, focused on the fantastic animals carved on fountains, churches, residences, streets, all over in Town!

Your animals hunting starts in Piazza Navona, then it continues to the Pantheon, Piazza della Minerva and Piazza Mattei, near by the Jewish Quarter. Parents and children will be involved in the hunting, looking for the animals hidden among the monuments, solving riddles, interviewing the locals ( a fun way to try your basic Italian!!)…Paper and pencils will be provided, in order to create your “Stone Zoo of Rome”!!

The game-tour is perfect for families, for family groups and for young students (under 12 years old).

PARTY IN THE BORGHESE VILLA

Have you ever wished to be invited to a party in a princely residence? Every child would love to meet a Prince or a Princess in person and this is your chance!! You will be special guests in the amazing Borghese Villa and your Guide will introduce the Hosts: prince Camillo Borghese and his charming wife Paolina Bonaparte, the Cardinal Scipione and even his holiness Pope Paul V Borghese.

Walking through the rooms, your Guide will involve your kids with stories, anecdotes and mythology as they admire amazing Art works like the statues by Bernini, paintings by Caravaggio, Titian, Raphael; for the little ones, pencils and paper will be provided to reproduce their favourite Art work.

WALK WITH GHOSTS

A tour for the bravest, for those who love mysteries, ghost stories, those who wish to know the dark side of the City. If your kids, watching at the Harry Potter movies, loved caracters like “Nearly Headless Nick” or “Helena Ravenclaw” or “Moaning Myrtle”, they will certainly enjoy this itinerary! Walking through some of the most fascinating streets and squares of the City, your Guide will tell you the stories of women and men who really lived, loved, hated, killed and died in the Eternal City, people who still move around, no longer as human beings but as supernatural Entities.

Live this unusual experience with us and you will learn the sad story of Beatrice Cenci, who lived near by the Jewish quarter, where our tour starts. Walking toward Campo de’ Fiori, we will meet the Ghosts of the beautiful courtesan Imperia, who took her life for an unrequited love, and of the philosopher Giordano Bruno, killed for his heretical ideas.

Once in Piazza Navona, we will know the darkest ghost of our tour, the one of a woman, Olimpia Maidalchini, Innocent X’s sister-in-law, and the one of a sweet lady, Costanza De Cupiis, famous in town for the beauty of her hands. As we continue toward the Pantheon, an other spirit comes to meet us, once he was an Artist, a great painter, known as “the rebel genious”, Caravaggio.

We end up in Piazza Rotonda, facing the great architecture of the Pantheon, reflecting on all the stories and legends we have heard about, wondering about the never-ending life of this incredible City.
