1) AT THE LAKE - MONTEFIASCONE AND BOLSENA

Lago di Bolsena

Our visit will start at Montefiascone, town in the north of Viterbo, famous for the production of the white wine Est! Est!! Est!!!; here we will admire the beauty of the village with its Cathedral, built in Renaissance epoch on project attributed to Michael Sanmicheli and then continued by Charles Fontana, and a Romanesque church dedicated to St. Flaviano; this church was erected in the XII century on a more ancient building and today it's renowned for Giovanni Fugger or Defuk's grave, the man who discovered and gave the name to the famous local wine. The trip will continue making a turn of the lake of Bolsena, one of the widest European lakes having a volcanic origin and it will end in Bolsena, an attractive vacation place in the north oriental bank of the lake. We will visit the medieval village and the Church of Saint Cristina erected in the XI century where it's possible to see the Miracle's Chapel, so called because in 1263, during mess, some drops of blood dripped from the wafer consacreted for the Holy Communion.
Thanks to this event  the Corpus Domini 's Day was established, together with the cult for the cave and for the catacombs of Saint Cristina.

2) AT THE LAKE - LAKE OF VICO AND CAPRAROLA

Palazzo Farnese a Caprarola

We will visit one of the most suggestive volcanic lakes of the territory of Viterbo. We will cross expanses of hazelnut and chestnuts trees and the famous depressed beech wood on the Venus mountain; we will admire the wonderful waters of the lake, rich in different kinds of fishes among which the pike, the common whitefish, the tinca, the european perch and the eel. Then we will move toward Caprarola, where we will visit the beauties of Farnese Palace, a large Renaissance building, begun by the architect Antonio by Sangallo the Young and finished by Jacopo Barozzi from Vignola. Inside it can be admired the magnificent Royal Staircase, the Noble plan, with the Room of the Fastis of Ercole, magistrally decorated by Zuccari brothers and the Room of the World map. The visit will continue toward the Italian gardens which culminate with the secret Casina of the Pleasure.

3) AT THE LAKE - BRACCIANO

 Lago di Bracciano

We will visit the volcanic lake of Bracciano, anciently known as lacus Sabatinus and the suggestive town of Bracciano dominated by the big structure of the Orsini Castle, today Odescalchis, a beautiful example of military architecture and noble dwelling. It was built by the Orsinis in the second half of XV century and it's a well known castle because choosen as wedding place by actors and show men, Italians and foreigners.

4) CIVITA CASTELLANA

Falerii Novi

We will visit the suggestive town of Civita Castellana, dominated by the Borgia Fortress, today centre of a Museum concerning the Falisco territory and by the wonderful Cathedral, famous, above all, for its portico made by the roman marble artisans Iacopo and Cosma of Lorenzo. The visit will continue with the excursion to the archaeological site of Falerii which still show the whole tows-walls with its nine doors.

5) CASTELLI DI ROMA

Villa Aldobrandini

The walk will include the visit to the Castelli Romani, little towns situated in the south-east of Rome, on the Alban Hills. We will admire the lovely Villa Aldobrandini and the archaeological site of Tusculum in Frascati, Saint Nilo's abbey in Grottaferrata, the museum of Roman Ships of Nemi and Castel Gandolfo, the summer residence of the pope. Our trip will finish in Ariccia, dominated by the Chigi Palace, ancient castle of the Savellis, then restructured by Gian Lorenzo Bernini and Charles Fontana. Ariccia is very famous for its “fraschette”, little taverns where it's possible to eat some roman specialties such as bread with roast pig, tasting good roman wine.

6) CERVETERI: NECROPOLIS AND ETRUSCAN MUSEUM

Necropoli di Cerveteri

We will visit the suggestive etruscan necropolis, rich in grave that represents the most complete documentation concerning the development of etruscan architecture from VI to I century B.C., the National Cerite Museum housed in the Fortress, where are kept  funeral outfits coming from the necropolises of Sorbo, Cava of Pozzolana and Banditaccia. The visit will end with a pleasant walk around the medieval village.

7) CIVITA OF BAGNOREGIO AND BOMARZO

Civita di Bagnoregio

We will visit Civita of Bagnoregio, the so-called dying town, situated on a high spur of tuff. We will have a walk around the inhabited village from which we will admire the suggestive Valley of Badlands. We will continue our visit toward Bomarzo, visiting the Park of Monsters or Sacred Wood, placed close to the village and commisioned by Vicino Orsini in the second half of XVI century in memory of his wife. Here we will admire gigantic figures of monstrous and fantastic animals realized with peperino such as the Giant's group, the enormous Turtle, the head of an infernal Monster and an unusual leaning cottage.
